Summ Signal · Workforce intelligence

Your most experienced women are leaving. You do not have the data to see it happening.

Summ Signal gives HR and people directors anonymised workforce intelligence, and the documented evidence base for a legally defensible Menopause Action Plan.

The numbers your board needs to see.

67%

of women aged 40-60 say symptoms are negatively affecting their work performance

CIPD 2023

17%

are actively considering leaving their job due to lack of support

CIPD 2023

£30,614

average cost to replace one mid-career employee

Oxford Economics / Unum

204

menopause-related tribunal claims in 2024, up from 64 in 2022

Nockolds / HMCTS 2025

80% of women say they would be more likely to stay if their employer actively supported them.

This is not a welfare issue. It is a retention strategy.

Fawcett Society / CIPD 2023

This is no longer optional.

The Employment Rights Act 2025 requires organisations with 250 or more employees to publish a Menopause Action Plan. Voluntary from April 2026. Mandatory from spring 2027.

The statutory MAP structure requires employers to understand workforce needs, take action, track outcomes, and review and improve. Summ Signal is the data infrastructure that evidences all four.

Menopause symptoms can qualify as a disability under the Equality Act 2010, triggering a duty to make reasonable adjustments. Three recent tribunal cases have confirmed this, with awards between £20,000 and £64,645.

Direct Line

Severe symptoms. Performance plan run without OH referral or reasonable adjustments.

Award: £23,000

McCabe

Derogatory comments about hormones. Sought younger replacement.

Award: £20,000

Lynskey v Direct Line

Failure to make adjustments. Lost earnings and injury to feelings.

Award: £64,645

A documented plan showing you understood the need, took action, and tracked outcomes is your primary evidence of duty of care.

Intelligence without surveillance.

Every woman who uses Summ chose to share anonymously. You see patterns. She keeps her privacy.

01

Women use Summ

Your employees access Summ using an employer code. They complete a symptom checker, track daily symptoms, and unlock personalised support. Their data belongs to them.

02

Summ builds the intelligence

Summ processes individual data into anonymised cohort patterns. Your organisation never has access to individual data. This is architectural, not a promise.

03

You act on aggregate signals

Your Summ Signal dashboard shows symptom patterns, recommended actions, and MAP compliance evidence. One click exports your plan document.
