Built for the question nobody could answer.
What happens when you are mid-career, at your peak, and your body starts working differently? You Google it at midnight. You book a GP appointment and get told it is probably stress. You wonder if you are the problem. You are not. It is perimenopause. And most women wait years to find out.
The gap Summ exists to close.
There are 13 million women in perimenopause in the UK. Most have no diagnosis. Many are managing symptoms that have names, patterns, and evidence-based responses. They just have not been told.
The clinical evidence exists. It sits in research papers, NICE guidelines, and 28 years of SWAN study data. Summ makes it accessible to the woman sitting at her desk wondering why she cannot find the word she needs.
What we built.
Summ Pattern is free. Sign up, check your symptom pattern against published clinical frameworks, and track how it changes over time. Your GP report is ready from day 7, a structured summary of your symptoms you can take to your doctor.
Summ Personal is coming. As your tracking data builds, Summ Personal adds a personalised nutrition plan, supplement guide, and trigger analysis matched to your specific pattern. Evidence-based guidance, not generic wellness advice.
Who built this.
Summ was founded after years working in NHS Digital and AstraZeneca R&D. The question was always the same: why does good clinical evidence never reach the people who need it most? Summ is the answer to that question, built for perimenopause.
The nutrition framework was developed with a Women's Health Registered Dietitian. Summ Core, our daily supplement formulation, launches in autumn 2026.
What we are not.
Summ is not a wellness brand. We do not sell reassurance. We build on published clinical evidence: NICE NG23, STRAW+10, and the Menopause Rating Scale. Summ Pattern is not a diagnostic tool. It is a pattern classifier that gives you something to work with while you wait for the clinical system to catch up.
